The beverage brand SOBOA needed a brand campaign to launch during the Tabaski period (Aid El Kebir), to boost sales during this pivotal period. The challenge was to break away from the traditional communication of food products during the festive season, to which everyone is accustomed. We had to reinforce the brand's image, thank customers for their loyalty and announce lower prices.
We suggested we think beyond the festive period, by creating a common thread throughout the year, to reinforce brand loyalty. This thread revolved around a key message in Wolof: “Suñu kolëré dafa coloré” (our gratitude is colored). The message was intended both to thank customers for their loyalty and to hint at the colorful richness of Soboa products. The result: a visually striking campaign that once again drew attention to the brand and its products, while announcing lower prices.
